2) Black tea is just as healthy as ‘trendy’ Green tea?
UCLA researchers released a study saying drinking three cups of Black or Green tea per day reduces risk of stroke by 21%.

3) This yummy snack lowers cancer risk?
Studies have shown an 11% drop in cancer risk for those who ate 160 calories worth of tree nuts, like almonds, walnuts, etc., on a daily basis.
4) Romantic candlelight dinners help you lose weight?
Eating in a relaxed environment with dimmed lights and mellow music helps you eat 175 fewer calories per meal than the typical brightly lit restaurant environment.

5) Fruit juice is deadly?!
Harvard researchers found that swapping out three glasses of fruit juice a week with three servings of whole fruit reduced the risk for Type-2 Diabetes by 7%.
6) There are 2 simple tricks to fall asleep faster?
It’s true! Visualize yourself asleep while making your body relax: Imagine yourself drifting off into a peaceful slumber while you practice deep breathing and progressive muscle relaxation. Start at one end of your body and work up or down, clench, and then release each section of the muscles for instant all-over relaxation.
7) You can fight carbs with the holiday spice that is oh-so-nice?Research from my beloved American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that adding a teaspoon of cinnamon to a starchy meal (like oatmeal or on delicious sweet potato mash) controls your blood sugar and lowers the levels of your dreaded fat-storing hormone (insulin). This STOPS hunger cravings and helps you LOSE weight faster, even when you eat your favorite meals.

Shop for fruits… in the freezer aisle. You’ll save money AND get more nutrition when you buy frozen fruit.
Research shows that frozen fruits AND veggies can be more nutritious than fresh fruits because they are picked and frozen at their prime. Just make sure to read the labels and avoid any packaged items that come with added sugar, syrup, or sauces.
