New Twists on “Old School” Exercises
New Twists on “Old School” Exercises by Brian Kalakay,
So many times we train or participate in a program and you use the same handful of basic exercises every session. Sure there are some variations that you can do with them, but essentially it “feels” the same.
This is one of the reasons why people get burned out of programs and other forms of training. Basically they get BORED.
My name is Brian Kalakay and I am a Certified Turbulence Trainer. I happen to own a six-figure fat loss facility in Lapeer, Michigan. This means that I am very familiar with handling this “state of training boredom”. We have over 120 active members in my facility and we constantly have to think of new ways to train people or we risk losing them to this training epidemic that seems to hit people more than we would like.
To destroy this problem, I came up with some ways to cleverly disguise exercises so that people are still working the same muscle groups but it feels totally different than the traditional methods of exercise.
Not to mention these versions of the “traditional exercises” are going to make you giggle like a little kid on the playground because they are down right fun.
Check out the video below. I will cover all of these exercises and the new “twist” on them that will make them feel brand new again…
Here is the list of the exercise twists from the video above:
Spiderman Pushups => Crawling Spiderman Pushups
Reverse Planks => Crab Crawls
Squats => Duck Walk
Jump Squats => Burpee Long Jumps
Squat & Thrusts => Bear Crawl
These modifications are guaranteed to spice up your training and add an element of fun to it as well.
If you would like to get your hands on more methods of “disguised exercise” to use in your training, make sure to check out my Turbulence Training Boot Camp Games 2.0 Program <= New and Improved!
It is jam-packed with over 31 done for you boot camp games that will explode the “entertrainment” levels of any training program. One of the best parts is that the games can be done in less than 2-3 minutes. OR if you want to make them last longer, just repeat the game a few times to make them last up to 10 minutes. It’s totally up to you.
These games are a great way to break up your training session and end on a high note that will send everyone home with a smile on their face.
Don’t forget, these are still workouts, they just don’t feel like it!
Game on and Keep Rocking It!
