Turbulence Training Success Stories

Every month we go through the success story emails from TT members and award a 1-year Platinum TT Membership to our top readers.

This month, we’re giving away two Platinum Memberships (worth $197) to Emily and Neil.

Here are their motivational and inspirational stories.

Emily’s Sister Lost 19 Pounds with Turbulence Training, and Now She’s Trying TT Too and Has Lost 16 Pounds in ONLY 5 Weeks

“When my sister first told me about the TT program, I was somewhat skeptical of the results she was claiming…UNTIL I SAW HER!

In six short weeks, my uncoordinated and out of shape (not anymore) sister had lost nearly 19 pounds! So, I decided to give it a try. I am excited to say that I have been using Turbulence Training for about 5 weeks now and I can already see a noticeable change in my body!

Several years ago I hit 190 lbs (I am a 5’1” female) and decided that it was time to get fit. I worked hard and eventually fell in love with long- distance running. I got down to around 140 lbs but gained some back after several years of marriage. Before I knew it, I was at 155 lbs again.

I am an ultra-marathon runner and have trained for and run several races exceeding 30 miles, yet I could not lose the extra fat.

So far, Turbulence Training has enabled me to lose 16 lbs. of fat in 5 weeks and I have lost 6 inches off my waist!

Now I am kicking myself for not taking “before” photos. I still have about 14 lbs to go before I reach my goal weight of 125, but I am never bored with the workouts and it has propelled my long-distance running to a new level as my speed is increasing.

If you think the Beginner and Intermediate workouts look to easy, think again. Even after just completing a full marathon in under 4 hours last fall, the beginner workout gave me a run for my money!

I am looking forward to reaching my goal weight and continuing to set strength and fitness goals. Thank you TT!!!”

And Neil is

“I wanted to take an extra minute to say thanks for everything you do to help all of us out here trying to get in shape. The help and motivation I’ve gotten from you in so many aspects is immeasurable.

I even found your hotel room bodyweight workouts, that are a big help for when I’m traveling (usually up to your town of Toronto).

Here’s my quick, unsolicited story: I am 40 years old, 6′ 3″ tall, and have been sitting at around 230 pounds for the past 10 years.

It’s the classic story, prior to turning 30, I had always had “high metabolism” so I could eat whatever I wanted, and didn’t go to the gym on a regular basis, but still maintained a healthy weight.

However, at some point, after graduating college and getting a 9 to 5 office job, a switch was thrown somewhere, and now, here I sit.

There are a multitude of reasons why I have finally decided to lose my extra “baggage,” but the proverbial straw was when I was recently traveling, and my cell phone kept popping off my belt clip.

I quickly realized that it was every time I bent down for whatever reason, my gut was knocking it off.

To add to that, my father just had to have another angioplasty in January, due to some heart issues. He has always been a legendary eater. When he was younger, his nickname was “Grocery Store,” because that’s where all the food would go.

When he turned 50, he was diagnosed with diabetes. This, combined with his eating habits, put him in the hospital when he was about 57. He had to have a 7-bypass heart surgery, because of the terrible condition of his arteries. Unfortunately, that didn’t stop his eating habits, and I didn’t change mine at the time either.

But after his hospital visit early this year, all of that changed for me. I looked into the faces of my two young children, and realized that I didn’t want them to see me lying in the hospital anytime soon. So here I am.

Since getting started 5 weeks ago on Isabel’s Diet Solution, along with doing the TT workouts, I’ve lost 11 of the 35 pounds I’m trying to lose.

I’m looking forward to getting down to my ideal weight again, and am excited everyday to do every little thing I can to make that happen.

Thank you again for all you do,

Neil Sutton

Thanks again to Craig for all he does for his customers. Not only are the workouts amazing and effective, but his generosity surpasses my expectations.

For those of you who are reading this and might be wondering, I am Emily’s previously out of shape, overweight and uncoordinated sister; and you can see my results with Craig’s program on his website http://www.transformationcontest.com – I won the Under 40’s Female category. Before finding Craig’s program, I was such a skeptic of internet products, especially fitness related ones, but I am so glad that I took the chance and ordered the program because as it turns out, it has been one of the best decisions I have made and I’m so happy for the influence that decision has made on me and my family 🙂

    Thanks again Craig!

    • Awesome Rachel, you’ve done everyone proud. Keep up the great work.

Thank you Craig! When I signed up yesterday to be part of the 11th Transformation Contest, I thought this was related to that. Looking in the forum and at all the downloads you have out there, I’m really excited to see where this will take me. This is really going to help me plan out the next 12 weeks for the contest.

Update: I wrote that e-mail you posted above several weeks ago. Now, at 12 weeks into following your workouts and eating the RIGHT way, I can say I’ve now lost 21 pounds. I’m really pumped about my progress so far, but after looking at my “Before” photos that I just took for the contest, I can see that I still need quite a bit of work to get back to my pre-30’s physique. My wife just picked up my new dumbell set for me (she took a day trip up the the Twin Cities to pick up my Bowflex adjustable dumbells – Thanks Babe), so now I’m ready to take my home workouts up a notch, and plan on taking the prize in about 12 weeks. 🙂 Thanks again for everything.

I have to say, I’m with Neil. Your hotel room workouts have got me through a week away- I have a real tendency to overdo training and have used your approach for ages now- a good couple of years. However, I’d like to point out that I’ve used them to gain an appreciation of weight INCREASE. Mainly because by initially only using my bodyweight, I felt that I wasn’t making my body deal with weight outside of a ‘safe’ zone that would hurt my skeleton and muscular composition further, having already left it malnourished and weakened

Then, once back to strength, I added in weights (see my blog for an example today) and keep to a K.I.S.S. approach. Let me know what you think 🙂

All-in-all, I just want you to recognise that you’re inspiring a wider audience than simply overweight people… add in low self-esteem, recovering low weight issues… that’s increased your ‘feel good reach’ threefold already!!!
