I think we can all agree that Scarlett Johanssen is a great role model for women. She’s sexy (sexiest woman in the world, according to Esquire) and she looks fit and fantastic – NOT fake.

But you have to respect Scarlett’s workout. According to her Hollywood trainers, Scarlet did, “squats, lunges, chin-ups and split squats to strengthen her upper body and thighs. Her strong and firm thighs made her look even better while performing her stunts (in the Captain America movie).”

‘Scarlett admits that she likes cheese very much and she is proud of it. She states, “My greatest vice is cheese. Nothing else reigns over my life”.

How does she overcome her love of cheese?

By using the #1 secret for workout success – Intensity.

That means keeping your rest periods short, but using an intense weight, just like you will in this Carve Your Curves sample workout that I would have Scarlett do if I were her trainer – and yes, I would laugh, diabolically, as she went through the evil Vulgarian Split Squats…

Day 1 – Your Confidence-Strength-Curves Circuits
1A) Vulgarian 1&½ Rep Split Squats – 30 seconds per side (1-1-1-0)
1B) *Eccentric Pull-ups – 30 seconds (4-0-1-0)
1C) DB Chest Press – 30 seconds + **Rest-Pause to Failure (2-0-1-0)
– Rest 60 seconds and repeat the circuit 2 more times.
– *If you can’t pull yourself up, get a boost up to the top position.
– **Rest-Pause to Failure – After doing the 30 seconds, rest for 30 seconds, and then do as many reps as you can with the same weight.

2A) Narrow-Stance Goblet Squat – 30 seconds (2-1-2-0)
2B) ***Pushups with Feet/Legs on Ball – 30 seconds (2-0-1-0)
2C) DB Chest Supported Row – 30 seconds (2-0-1-0)
– Rest 30 seconds and repeat the circuit 2 more times.
– ***Make pushups easier by sliding more of your legs back onto the Ball.

3A) Goblet Lunge – 40 seconds per side (2-1-1-0)
3B) Spiderman Climb (alternating sides) – 40 seconds (1-0-1-0)
3C) Stability Ball 1-Leg Curl – 20 seconds per side (1-0-1-0)
3D) Total Body Extension – 40 seconds (1-0-1-0)
– Rest 30 seconds and repeat the circuit 2 more times.

Wasn’t that fun?

Oh, and when Scarlett was done her workout and I had finished laughing diabolically (I laugh a LOT), then we’d finish with one set of hanging around her and Bill Murray at the bar in “Lost in Translation”. Now that would be totally amazing
