Live Rockstar Life

“Party in the city where the heat is on, All night, on the beach till the break of dawn…Welcome to Miami, Buenvenidos a Miami, I’m goin to Miami, Welcome to Miami” – Will Smith

What happens when you go to Miami? Well, we all know what happens to Bieber. But when you’re The Godfather, living a “RockStar life but as a good steward of money”, as Bedros described it, you have the best of both worlds.

You can Live Large, as our guest speaker, Vinny D recommended, while also building, growing, and protecting your wealth, as Vinny, Joel, & Bedros teach you to do.

If you study the biggest success stories I know, particularly the Big 3 (Bedros, Vinny, & Joel), you’ll recognize them as the most generous men in the fitness industry. Not only do they give freely of their money (as mentioned last month), but also of their time, experience, and knowledge.

Success is so simple, as Big B explains here: “The PROBLEM in people’s careers is that most people are focused on: ‘What can others do for them’ when they should be focusing on ‘What can I do for others?’

What I love about Vince, Joel, and Bedros is that while they are generous with their money to friends and good times, what they spend here is a drop in the bucket to what they save and invest.

Joel can buy a Miami Heat Championship ring, Bedros can drive his fast & fancy cars, and Vinny D can Live Large with Flavia – without breaking the bank. I see too many ‘up-and-comers’ trying to keep up with them, and it’s foolish and wasteful.

Furthermore, what the Big 3 spend on fun pales in comparison to what they donate to charities and put into rental real estate and other investments.

Vinny D made a big impression on me back in the day when he told me that he bought his first rental property while he was a struggling trainer in his 20’s. Now Vinny lives in a gorgeous home in one of the nicest communities in Canada, and he’s able to take his amazing wife and beautiful baby girl down to Florida for the winter. Live Large. But be a Good Steward of Your Money. These seemingly contradictory qualities CAN go hand in hand, but it’s all about the type of money you spend.

“Now is the time to get serious about living your ideals. Once you have determined the spiritual principles you wish to exemplify, abide by these rules as if they were laws, as if it were indeed sinful to compromise them. Don’t mind if others don’t share your convictions. How long can you afford to put off who you really want to be? Your nobler self cannot wait any longer. Put your principles into practice – now. Stop the excuses and the procrastination. This is your life!” – Epictetus, The Art of Living
