Do YOU peel your vegetables?

The members of my Eat More, Burn More community ask all kinds of great questions and I’m always glad to help.

Recently I posted a video to help aspiring cooks acquire more techniques and make their lives much easier in the kitchen.

The video is a very simple (yet essential) technique: How to peel vegetables FAST.

It’s great to get the knowledge to be faster in the kitchen so that you can spend more time with your family or friends. And today I want to share a secret that is even faster than peeling vegetables.

Don’t peel your vegetables.

You see, every recipe containing vegetables recommends peeling them. But that’s wrong. The truth is that most vitamins are actually strategically located under the skin by Mother Nature, and a peeler would remove that. Healthy vitamins in the trash!

More importantly if you’re struggling with your weight, most of the fat-burning fiber is contained IN the skin. That is too bad because fiber is absolutely key to fat loss.

This is why I never peel my soft-skin vegetables: zucchini, eggplant, cucumber, turnips, carrots, etc… Just wash them and proceed with your recipe. Not only will you regain some precious time, but you will also get more vitamins and fiber into your body temple.

Let me know if this simple trick works for you on the Eat More Burn More Facebook page.
