In the glorious summer of 2006, I hired a personal trainer to put me through some of the best conditioning workouts of life. Unfortunately…
…he moved away, and I never found someone to replace him.
After all, he was a former pro boxer and he was kicking my butt with only the best boxing drills you could do.
I’da been a contender, I tells ya, had I stuck with those workouts.
There’s something about moving your feet, slugging the bag, ducking and weaving, and having sweat pore off your nose … while you are so focused on the task at hand.
Those workouts zipped by…and although they left me exhausted, and super lean, I looked forward to them every week.
I really needed that change in my routine.
Alas, I’ve never been able to find a replacement coach…until now.
This time, one of my students has become the teacher.
I want to introduce you to Dani Woodrum, one of my Certified Turbulence Trainers. Not only is he a specialist in creating amazing delicious, high-protein desserts and pancakes (like the ones I shared with you on Sunday), but Dani is also an expert in no-equipment kickboxing conditioning workouts – the type that will kick your butt in just 15 minutes or less.
Dani’s workouts are perfect for taking outside to your backyard or down to the park. You can do them in a hotel room or in your bedroom.
Like his desserts, Dani’s workouts are addictive. Only they burn a ton of calories (his desserts just fill you up on a fraction of the calories you’d get from a normal dessert – that doesn’t even taste as good!).
And anyone can do these workouts. You don’t have to be an athlete. You can even be a Kitchen Clutz, like me. Dani shows how easy it is to string together wickedly awesome and fun combinations of exercises – while making you fighting fit at the same time.
Plus, he’s using a proven system – the TT fat loss program design methodology that I taught him while he became a TT Jedi Master – combined with his years of running two Kickboxing gyms down near Charleston, South Carolina (one of my favorite cities in the world).
Here’s just a little taste of Dani’s workouts that you use right now even if you’re at the office. Just close the door and tell them to “hold all calls” for a few minutes.
Perform these 3 exercises as many times as possible in 3 minutes without any rest. After Round #1 of 3 minutes, rest 45 seconds and repeat once more. And throw in this challenge: In Round #2, try to get through the 3 exercises more times than you did in Round #1.
1A) Squat to Punch – 10 Reps
1B) “T” Pushups – 6 Reps Per Side
1C) Reverse Lunge To Front Kick – 10 Reps Per Side
After doing two Rounds of that circuit, take a full minute of rest and move on to this next circuit. Do 2 rounds of this one as well, trying to do more work in the 2nd round than in the 1st.
2A) Ali Shuffle w/ arms straight overhead – 30 Reps
2B) 4 Punch/2 Knee Combo – 10 Reps
2C) Close Grip Pushups w/ 2 second pause in bottom position – 6 Reps
Next, take a minute rest and then move to…
The “AB Knockout” Circuit – Do this circuit as many times as possible in 6 minutes…
3A) Side Plank Punches – 12 Reps Per Side
3B) Total Body Extensions – 12 Reps
3C) Cross Body Mountain Climbers w/ 2 Second Pause – 12 Reps
3D) Burpee/ 4 Punch Combo – 6 Reps
3E) Rocking Plank w/ Feet Elevated – 12 Reps
Bonus – no equipment required!
It’s no wonder Daniel had clients like Amanda, who lost 6 inches in just a month…
… or Tiffany who lost 23 pounds in 60 days
… or Billy, who lost a whopping 56 pounds
