3 Amazing Protein Shake Recipes

What a week. I’m not usually the kind of person to say “TGIF,” but today, I’m yelling “TGIF!!!”

Since it’s Friday, let’s have some fun – and give you some delicious recipes to help you stay on track with your nutrition plan.

You’re going to love these protein shake recipes, especially the “PB&J Milkshake” below. It’s a favorite of ol Chef Craig, the Kitchen Clutz. Of course, when I make this recipe, I always forget to put the top back on the blender before starting it up… haha. That leaves poor ol’ Bally the Dog shaking his head at me.

But first, I have 3 unique diet tips for you to use starting right now…

(And PLEASE forward this to your friends… it will really help them.)

#1 – Time Your Protein Shake for Maximum Results

If you want to lose fat, have a protein shake before a meal. This fills you up, KILLS cravings, and stops you from overeating.

On the other hand, if you want to gain muscle, eat dinner first and then have the protein shake. There’s always room for BioTrust Milk Chocolate protein mixed with a tablespoon of almond butter! This gives you the extra calories and protein you need for muscle building.

The BEST protein is BioTrust. Get a FREE bottle here.

#2 – Replace Your Morning Juice with Protein

I’m shocked that so many TT readers still drink orange juice (and other sources of sugary liquid calories). Orange juice contains the same amount of sugar as a soda, contributes to fat storage, and damages your teeth, too.

Drinking juice is stopping your fat loss dead in its tracks. Plus, the more sugar you have at breakfast, the worse the rest of your daily meals. Kick OJ to the curb!

On the other hand, research shows that replacing carbs at breakfast with protein keeps you full longer, and more alert, too, so your burn more belly fat.

Here are two fantastic protein shake recipes:

The Ballantyne Berry Blast Blender Drink

  •     8oz water
  •     4 ice cubes
  •     2 scoops BioTrust Vanilla Cream protein
  •     1 handful spinach
  •     ¼ cup frozen or fresh blueberries

The Apple-Cinnamon Quickie Breakfast Blender Drink

  •     8oz water
  •     4 ice cubes
  •     2 scoops BioTrust Vanilla Cream protein
  •     1 handful spinach (you can’t taste it, trust me!)
  •     1 apple
  •     1 teaspoon cinnamon (helps control blood sugar!)

Those are two ways to get your protein and fiber fast.

#3 – Use This Delicious Dessert at Night

Let’s say it’s been a long, busy day, and you didn’t get all the protein you needed. You had an early dinner, watched the kids at soccer/hockey/basketball/music lessons, and now you’re still hungry.

There’s ice cream in the freezer calling your name… and soon it will be on your belly winking at you.

So fight that fat-storing dessert with this amazing high-protein bodysculpting solution.

Being the creative chef that I am, I swifted up something you wont’ see ANYWHERE else. It’s a Chef CB classic, and is also great for breakfast or as a delicious after-exercise treat.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Raspberry Jam Milkshake

  • 2 scoops BioTrust Low Carb Milk Chocolate Protein
  • 8oz water
  • 4 ice cubes
  • 1 tbsp all-natural peanut butter (ol’ CB loves crunchy, not smooth, and you?)
  • 1/4 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1/4 cup frozen spinach

Directions:  Put all ingredients in a blender and create a shake.

You’ll SWEAR it’s ice-cream!

NOTE: But it does NOT taste nearly as good with anything other than BioTrust.
