10-Minute “Streaking” New Year’s Workout (#1 tip for 2015)

It’s easy to be jaded about New Years resolutions. Perhaps you set big goals last year only to give up on them before the SuperBowl. That’s okay. This year offers a fresh start, and I have a TRICK to help you stick to them.

Besides…the mistakes of your past are not who you are now. No matter what you’ve done in your life you have a second chance that starts today.

It is your time to choose who you will be and who you will become, for the rest of your life. You are not too old or too far gone to change, to transform to lead, to help, to give, to create or to inspire.

Let the past go and start fresh, right here, right now. Never give up on what matters to you. You can do it. Everyone here at TT believes in YOU.

And to help you stick with your goals, you’re going to use this simple little “streaking trick” to make 2015 your best year ever.

The solution is using small steps & little bets that bring BIG victories. A researcher from Stanford University, BJ Fogg, calls these, “Tiny-Habits”. He believes you can make big transformations if you start with tiny changes. It’s all about getting started & sticking to it => what I call, “getting on a streak”. Once you get on a good-habit streak, you won’t want to break it.

Here’s what you must do to start the Good Habit Streak:

On January 1st I want you to start a streak that will last a long, long time. Pick the simplest healthy habit that you can choose, and resolve to do it every day in 2015. Maybe it’s having a daily Green Tea or eating 20 grams of protein for breakfast. Or maybe it’s committing to doing at least 1-minute of bodyweight exercise for the entire year.

By starting a streak, you are constantly reminded that, “Hey, if I’m on this Good Habit streak, I might as well as eat right and sleep well, too…and get in 3 fat burning workouts per week…and have my morning shake, etc.”

If you get on a Good Habit Streak, your momentum will build and you’ll make more and more of the Right Decisions each day, allowing you to make incredible progress in 2015…

The 2015 10-Minute Good Habit Streak Kickstart Workout

1A) Prisoner Squat or Jumping Jacks
1B) Spiderman Pushup or Regular Pushup
1C) Burpee or Total Body Extension
1D) Reverse Split Squat (20 seconds per leg)
1E) X-Body Mountain Climber (alternating sides)
– Do each exercise for 20 seconds and then rest 10 seconds.
– Rest 30 seconds at the end of the circuit before repeating 2 more times.
