5-Minute Fat Torching Circuit – Beginner Bodyweight 

– Do all exercises for 40 seconds.
– Rest 20 seconds before doing the next exercise.
– You can repeat the circuit up to 3 times (for a 15-minute workout)

1A) Bodyweight Squat
1B) Mountain Climber
1C) Total Body Extension
1D) Kneeling Pushup
1E) Iron Cross Hold

5-Minute Fat Torching Circuit – Intermediate DB-BW Combo

You just need one pair of moderately heavy dumbbells. You’ll use one of the dumbbells for the Goblet Squat, and both dumbbells for the DB Squat.

– Do all exercises for 40 seconds.
– Rest 20 seconds before doing the next exercise.
– You can repeat the circuit up to 3 times (for a 15-minute workout)

1A) Goblet Squat (hold one dumbbell in both hands at chest height)
1B) Close-Grip Pushup
1C) DB Squat (hold dumbbells at sides)
1D) X-Body Mountain Climber
1E) Total Body Extension or Burpee

5-Minute Fat Torching Circuit – Advanced DB-BW with Bench 

“Mark your territory” in a small corner of the gym. You’ll need one set of dumbbells and a bench. That’s it. Growl at anyone that tries to steal anything from you. 😉

– Do all exercises for 40 seconds.
– Rest 20 seconds before doing the next exercise.
– You can repeat the circuit up to 3 times (for a 15-minute workout)

1A) DB Reverse Lunges (alternating sides)
1B) Decline Pushups
1C) DB Chest Supported Row
1D) DB Goblet Step-up (alternating sides)
1E) Burpee

Do you see the secrets to getting a great workout in a busy gym, crowded space, or at home with minimal equipment – all in a short amount of time?

If not, let me reveal all of my tricks… (I’m a fitness magician!)

First, have a huge library of bodyweight exercises.

Second, set up your exercises in a “non-competing” format (that means you’ll do a lower body exercise followed by an upper body exercise… so that the lower body ‘rests’ while the upper body works… and vice versa).

Third, avoid back-to-back grip-intensive exercises. For example, avoid doing dumbbell lunges followed by dumbbell rows because your grip strength becomes the limiting factor, rather than the main muscles (legs and back, respectively).
