#1 Problem with Fat Burning Exercise

Should you lose weight slowly or quickly – what’s more effective?

Most trainers teach their clients that losing 1 to 2 pounds each week leads to steady weight loss, and more permanent results over time.

But be careful with this advice. While 1-2 pounds/week can be effective, there’s a better and more promising way to shed your unwanted body fat.

Fortunately, I stumbled upon a research study that shows us how to get 4 times the fat burning from just a single workout – and faster permanent results.

One British study found that:

A Fat Loss Accelerator-style workout boosted this fat melting hormone by as much as 450% (that’s not a typo) during 24 hours after short, intense bouts of exercise.

(Reference: Stokes, K. (2002) Journal of Sports Science. Jun: 20(6):487-94.)

You see, these workouts activate a special “Super-Hormone” that helps your body burn fat even faster.

This “super-hormone” is Human Growth Hormone (HGH), and it’s the key to burning fat and getting sexy results all year round.

Now, I know it sounds easier and makes sense to just to do twice as much cardio to speed up your results, and you probably think you’ll burn twice as much fat too, but realize this:

You don’t burn a ton of calories during exercise, unless you’re Michael Phelps.

But you know what does?

The Afterburn Effect.

Also known as EPOC (excess-post exercise oxygen consumption), the Afterburn allows you to increase your metabolism post workout and burn more calories for 24 to 48 hours after ONE 12 minute session.

On the other hand, traditional cardio burns almost NO calories post workout – so you don’t get a fat burning after workout boost from it.

Let me give you an example of a Metabolic Fat Loss Accelerator workout that will boost your Afterburn. This is just part of the workout we did at my bootcamp here in New York City today:

– Bodyweight warm-up circuit of push ups, jumping jacks and squats.

– Then a fast, total body high intensity MRT circuit. We supersetted lower body and abdominal exercises with upper body dumbbell moves to crank their metabolism.

It was so much fun – and hard.

Plus, we finished with a classic Fat Loss Accelerator:

A) Burpees 20s work, 10s rest x 4 rounds
B) Jump squats 20s work, 10s rest x 4 rounds
C) Jumping jacks 20s work, 10s rest x 4 rounds

That final 6 minutes alone will keep you fit on crazy busy days.
