In a typical bull market, half the gains are made during the last 10% of its duration. At least, that's something I read recently. And, if true, it's a remarkable fact. It means in a 10-year uptrend, you would make half your profits in the first nine years and the other half in the last year.

I recently installed a plugin on my WordPress blog, and was completely blown away by the results. Opt-ins to my list increased significantly, the number of new friend requests that came in on Facebook nearly tripled in less than a week, and, most important, my sales increased.

In his video today, marketing legend Drayton Bird says... it depends. Just click on the screen below to get the full story.
At Early to Rise we wake you up every day by giving you inspiration and practical advice on how to accomplish your goals.

Sign up to receive our daily issues, and you will see — immediately and clearly — that Early to Rise is not like any information service you have run into in the past. It is not self-help. It’s us helping you.
We search out the most interesting leaders in these areas, and we bring them to you — up close and personal.
Our goal is to provide you with specific, actionable strategies to accomplish all your goals, one day at a time, with the confidence of knowing you are following the advice of true experts — men and women who have done it before.
Early to Rise was founded in 1999 as an informal weekly e-mail that Michael Masterson sent to a handful of his clients and proteges. The idea was to help them succeed by giving them shortcuts based on his 40-plus years as an entrepreneur and consultant.
Michael started his first business when he was 11 years old. In the decades since then, he's started dozens more... public and private... local and international... retail, wholesale, and direct mail.
Most of the businesses he started became multimillion-dollar operations. Many had sales in excess of $10 million. Several exceeded the $50 million mark. One went to $135 million. And another is just over $300 million.
Michael "retired" for the first time in 1989, when he was 39 years old. But his interest in business and direct marketing lured him back into consulting. In 2000, he retired again -- semi-retired, that is. He trimmed down his client list, and began spending at least half of his time writing.
All of his books have sold well. Several became Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and Amazon.com bestsellers. Those include Changing the Channel: 12 Easy Ways to Make Millions for Your Business (with MaryEllen Tribby); Ready, Fire, Aim: Zero to $100 Million in No Time Flat; Seven Years to Seven Figures: The Fast Track Plan to Becoming a Millionaire; Automatic Wealth: The Six Steps to Financial Independence; Automatic Wealth for Grads… and Anyone Else Just Starting Out; Power and Persuasion: How to Command Success in Business and Your Personal Life (all published by John Wiley & Sons); and Confessions of a Self-Made Millionaire.
Michael likes writing for ETR because it gives him the chance to write not just about business but also about his other interests -- reading, goal setting, marketing, copywriting, real estate, personal investing, and living a rich, purposeful life.

When most people think of bonds... they picture stodgy, reliable old government bonds that you hold for 30 years. Basically, for widows and orphans.
Can you spot anything amiss in the following sentences?
“The right way to look at illegal immigration is with a pragmatic eye.”
“Should nurses take a pragmatic approach to hand hygiene?”
“The system integrates ideas from logic programming, imperative programming, and rule-based systems in a pragmatic way.”
