Although I enjoyed ETR the old formatted way better, I am still reading every email due to the valuable content that continues to be found within.

Just wanted to add that I was a bit confused about what the "keep your nose clean" rule truly meant. Michael, I am certain that many of us would appreciate it if you would pen a follow-up article to elaborate on that more. Usually I can easily follow what you mean when you write, but this time I was stumped. Thanks for all your expert advice. Your books are wonderful and insightful. I am grateful also for the motivation I receive from surrounding myself with experts- successful people- who still act like normal humans instead of as if they are on pedestals above the rest of us.

Hi
Great learning platform. Actually we know all these and more. But find it quite difficult to practice in day to day life.Like Jonathan says in his mail, keeping nose clean needs explanation. Lucky to be part of this news letter.

Uncle Al's second rule should follow logically from his first rule, but as you point out, it doesn't always. Once someone is at work, why not work. It is a lot less boring than trying to dodge work. And it brings a great deal more personal satisfaction. And it leads to more challenging and interesting work.

Aloha Michael!
Read your books, and a long time subscriber and reader of ETR. Thanks for sharing your valuable insight so abundantly!

On 'keeping your nose clean'; are you talking about taking care of the little details - 'cause it all counts, or taking care of the bigger, more important things - like morality, ethics, and spirtuallity, or both? I know it's all important, but I'm trying to get what exactly you're saying in your article.

Thank you!

I always like your articles. They are so clear and deep. Full of practical knowledge and in the same time interesting to read. Thanks!

I have to agree with other comments. I do not like this new format at all. Since I have to click to another page to read things---its a chore. I rarely read the newsletter now, whereas before I very much enjoyed it in the morning. I liked the old format so much better. I love Michael Masterson and his words, but I liked this newsletter the way it was before the changes.

Michael,

I can understand how you feel when someone who met you at a Boot Camp and suddingly they feel like you are their new best friend. They have something you just have (and of course) want to read, right now. While your little trick, “Great to hear from you. Happy about your success. I’m swamped too so I can’t say when, if ever, I’ll be able to read your promo, but I will put it in my ‘to read’ file today’“ may work , it could also lead to additional unwanted emails from this person. However, because you used this in your Newsletter headed “A Clever Way to Say Thanks . . . But No Thanks” that goes out to what—a half million people? You are the person that everyone admires the most. Do you suppose the person in question just may have read your blog? This person most likely feels humiliated, and in all probability will never bother you again.
