Hi Michael,

seems obvious. Just like it's a lot easier to get lost in Beijing than in your hometown.

But even then, there are entrepreneurs who broke this rule with great success - like Richard Branson, who jumped from the music business into the aviation business (without knowing anything about it).

Hello Michael,

Its always revealing to read most of your articles. I am so grateful for the profound wisdom that you so generously share - thank you!!

I would like to know - regarding the principle of ‘one step removed’:

If I’m in real estate (like I actually am), and i see some opportunity in say… currency trading - which i am currently being exposed to; would taking a deep into this new world of investing be a waste of my time and probably too many steps removed from my core business?

Or would you consider it wise to take advantage of this opportunity while still taking care of business?

A response from you on this subject would be an honor and a pleasure to me. I eagerly look forward to hearing from you, at your earliest convenience.

Warmest regards from your protege and eager ETR reader,

Chu D. Obii (London, England)
