REMEMBER YOUR FRIENDS -- YOUR TRUE FRIENDS -- TODAY
If you are lucky, you will have a few friends who see you,
as
Teachers, to some students, are held in such blind esteem. And lovers, of course, but too briefly.
I like the very succinct definition my friend SL suggested: 'Friends like you anyway.'
So true. It’s wonderful to be loved for your virtues but better still to be liked in spite of your vices.
Do you have a friend who knows the real you? Who knows not only your obvious foibles but also your secret vices?
If you do, you are very lucky. Maybe you should call or write to him today and say 'thank you.'

Like good businesses, good leaders aren’t necessarily good at everything. More commonly, they are very good (even great) at one important thing - selling/marketing/pushing/producing - and just OK at most others.
To make yourself into the strongest possible leader, spend most of your time exercising your greatest strength. That will produce the greatest present yields and insure that you continue to be outstanding.
Spend a smaller but significant amount of time correcting your greatest weakness. (Just concentrate on one at a time.)
Don’t worry about the rest. If you are scoring C’s, that should be good enough.

HEALTH TIP: REDUCE THE TIME YOU DEVOTE TO EXERCISE AND INCREASE YOUR LIFESPAN BY ESCHEWING ELEVATORS
A colleague of mine won't go in an elevator -- no matter how many flights of stairs are involved. He's in amazingly good shape for a 50+ fellow. One day, they will discover that climbing stairs is the perfect combination of cardio-pulmonary exercise and anaerobic work for your legs.

Diptychs and Triptychs
Diptychs and triptychs are paintings -- usually religious paintings -- done on hinged panels. A diptych has two panels, which close like a book. A triptych is often made as an altarpiece with two smaller outer panels that completely cover the middle panel when they are folded. Whether diptych or triptych, the subject matter of the panels is almost always related.

'Bosky' (BAHS-kee) is a word you don't come across too often -- yet, it describes something very ordinary. 'Bosky' is an adjective meaning 'shaded.' In particular, it refers to the kind of place that is covered with bushes and small trees.
