Uncensored Info About Your Enemies

What a weekend.

Just had a blast in San Diego with Bedros Keuilian and his fitness info mastermind. Over 35 personal trainers coming together to help each other out, brainstorm, make deals, solve problems, and build lifelong relationships.

What a great group of people.

Here’s Rick Kaselj, Mike Whitfield, Travis Stoetzel, and some fool getting fueled up at Starbucks before our morning meeting (after a late night out in San Diego’s Gaslamp district).

Even ETR publisher Matt Smith stopped by for a day of hot seats…that dude is wicked smart. The group loved it.

But along the way we discovered a few enemies. They go by the name by the names of ‘procrastination’, ‘complacency’, and ‘resistance’.

They are ugly weasels stealing success from right out under our noses. Happens to all of us.

So we must conquer these demons.

Here’s a note I wrote to three of my publishing partners. I have no doubt you’ll get a lot of what I said to them. This is completely uncensored info…no holding back.

First, I praise them for their success in a recent promotion, and then we get crack the whip to help them identify the obstacles in their way of success.

These words will help you whip those weasels.

Dear Team,

Congratulations to everyone on their performance with Joel’s launch. As you can see, it’s not rocket science to make money with Joel’s launches.

Just follow these instructions:

1) Create your own bonus.
2) Copy and paste Joel’s emails.
3) If anything, tweak them to promote your bonus which should tie-in to the product Joel is creating.

It’s no surprise to me that Mike Whitfield had the most affiliate sales because he most closely followed the formula above. This formula was no mystery.

It is not acceptable to be ‘your own worst enemy’ and to be too busy to be prepared for Joel’s launches. He gives ample warning, and you MUST all be on his regular customer email list. If you aren’t, buy something from Joel today.

He hasn’t announced his next launch, but there’s no reason you can’t do better with the next one. All you have to do is follow the formula.

Listen…(insert whip-cracking sound)

If you are struggling with productivity and creativity, I’ve described the solution several times.

Identify your magic time. Foster it and ruthlessly protect it. Create an environment that lends to creativity and productivity.

It’s true that you might only have 90 minutes of pure creative work in you each day, BUT that is more than enough to create all the content you need and more.

You can do more, you can do better. We all can. And without massive sacrifices, too. It just takes better self-knowledge.

Study yourself. Eliminate the weaknesses (time sucks) and focus on your strengths (working during your magic time).

You can do it. I believe in you. That’s why you’re in the position that you’re in. I don’t give these opportunities to just anyone.

Let’s all get more organized. You’ve seen my spreadsheet/calendar. You know how it works. Model it or create your own.

Take an hour this week to fill it in for the next 3 months.

It can change. Spreadsheets aren’t stone.

But it’s better to have something than nothing.

One might even believe that at least having something attracts more things. Action attracts attention. Motion beats meditation.

I encourage you to focus on hard-core customer acquisition for the next three months. The more customers you have, the better you’ll perform in all areas (such as generating affiliate revenue and recurring revenue – when you get to that point).

A business lives and dies on new customer acquisition.

You are doing great with affiliate connections. Keep that up.

But keep looking for new ways to turn prospects into clients.

If you change sales copy, make sure you test it. Do not change anything without testing it.

Listen, at the end of the day, you all know what to do.

There’s no question that not only are you intelligent, but you’re wise in the ways of making money online.

That’s why I pushed you to bump up your goals.

Don’t set artificial limince.

Identify what works.

Implement what works into a system so that you can get more out of what you have.

All the while focusing on new customer acquisition to keep building the back-end of the business.

Those steps mean taking all of this a bit more seriously.

Get more structure into your business and you’ll have more freedom.

More time spent designing systems that work = more results from less work in the future.

More results and less work in the future = more freedom.

That’s the path you want – and need – to be on.

And you can do it.

I know you can.

I believe in you,

Craig Ballantyne

The best way to get started is to get started. Life rewards action…not reaction. Wait for nothing. Attack life. Don’t plan to death or ask for permission…but act now…and apologize later. – Kekich Credo #81

…Don’t wait till New Year’s to change. Don’t wait until tomorrow.  Just do it. It’s less painful to do it than it is to sit around and think about it or feel guilty that you haven’t started yet. Once you get started, things will get done.
