How To Make Money Imitating Other Successful Offers

You don’t need to re-invent the wheel to make money online. All you need to do is this:

You just need to model what’s working.

According to my mentor, Mark Ford,”Imitate the industry norm. It’s smart to start by imitating success,” he writes in Ready, Fire, Aim.

“Come up with me-too versions of several hot products. Improve them in a way by adding features or benefits lacking in the originals,” Mark adds.

Improve them by adding a little twist on a trend that allows you to fill in a valuable gap in the marketplace.

I have one of my Publishing Partners ‘kinda-sorta’ doing this, and it’s led to a big breakthrough in her business…because she’s an action taker.

And let me tell you, as a coach that has worked with just a few champions but a lot of contenders – and even more pretenders – it’s so rewarding – and easy – to work with action takers.

You give them a list to do.

They dominate.

You give them another list.

More domination.

Rinse and repeat and add massive value to the world.

This is how it should be.

And it can be easy when you imitate your way to the top.

One of the Action Takers in my Publishing business is Shawna Kaminski.

She is the Queen Of Persistence and never once has even thought of giving up on what was important to her – which happened to be building a successful online business.

That’s why we welcomed her into our publishing group.

Now she just takes my ideas – that I’m too busy to do myself – and executes.

From Challenge Workouts to Challenge Fat Loss and now all these new Challenge offers (see below), Shawna is becoming a big-time female fitness star (even achieving top 5 positions in medium-to-large sized launches).

What a great, well-deserved success story.

Recently I sent her an email with some new ideas…she’s since executed on a few of these, but expect to see her continue to fill in the rest of the gaps soon.

Dear Shawna,

Idea #1: Jump Rope – Done. Awesome work on the product launch & your blog post about it for PTpower. You are becoming a big time leader for folks getting started. Keep this up. It’s tremendous to watch.

Idea #2: Burpee – Done, and sold at a higher price point for the same total net revenue. Great job.

Idea #3: Complex Challenges – I think it could be a 2000 sale product offer in December when folks are busy…plus it’s a unique angle. This goes on sale on Dec. 9th. Email Shawna for affiliate details.

Idea #4: Diet Challenge – This is for January…or February. Ask Amy and Mike to explain my “Diet Depletion” idea and then put your own little twist on it. Come up with a 21-day or 28-day Diet Challenge program. Tie it in with fast New Year’s results and why it’s important to lose fat fast, not slow. This could be another 2000, 3000, or even 5000 sale event.

This is a great plan for you for the next few months, all the while reciprocating with affiliates, and in the back of your mind planning for a May 2014 re-launch of ChallengeFatLoss 2.0 where you’ll double the results of last year’s launch.

At the January MM, Bedros will come up with a unique way to position CFL 2.0 to get more affiliate participation and new sales from your current list.

Right B?

Great. Glad we’re all in agreement with that.

Exciting times. At this rate, you might be the Certified Turbulence Trainer of the Year at the TT Summit 2014!

Keep on filling the gaps in the marketplace,
