The biggest exercise mistake is…

The biggest exercise mistake is…

Doing exercises with a rounded low back.

People make this mistake when they do…
– squats
– crunches
– sit-ups
– rowing exercises
– and even when they pick up dumbbells / kids / trash off the floor

                                          Rounded back 225x300

This is one of the worst things you can do for your back.

After all, everyone knows a neighbor or an uncle that has hurt their back bending over – with a rounded back – to pick up a pencil or tie their shoes.

You see, it’s not the weight that hurts you, it’s the position.

Here’s why…

When you round your back, you put pressure on the jelly-like disks that are between each bone in your spine.

Too much pressure on one side of the disk – from bending forward – causes the jelly to bulge out (herniate) on the other side.

Imagine biting into an over-stuffed hamburger … All the topics come out the other side, right?

Well, that’s what rounding your back can do.

And again, it’s not the weight you are lifting, but the position you are in.

That’s why crunches and sit-ups hurt your back.

But if you’re thinking, “Craig, how can I get a flat stomach if crunches and sit-ups are bad for me?”

Well, don’t worry.

You’ll get the solution next Monday – for free.
