You Could Be Just Hours Away From Instant Internet Income

All you have to do is watch a simple video, and I’ll show you one of the most startling ways I’ve ever seen to make money in the shortest amount of time… within a few short hours of watching the presentation.

You will learn the exact plan that banked $187,296 in 24 hours for one man.  And you can copy it step for step.  And the best part is, once you put in just a few hours, you need not do any additional work.  You could very quickly have an “automatic” monthly income stream flowing into your bank account.

This new program is appropriately called Instant Internet Income and I guarantee it does exactly what I promise.  Take a look and discover how Jim Sheridan made this money so quickly.

4 Ways to Make MORE Money in a Stinking Recession

By Derek Gehl

I am so sick of turning on the TV or opening a newspaper. All you get are media-inspired “doom and gloom” stories about the stinking recession.

Now I don’t mean to make light of a serious situation. I know that a lot of very big companies have been caught with their pants down, so to speak. And I know that many good, honest folks have lost a lot of money – or even their jobs – as a result of the current crisis, through absolutely no fault of their own.

But that doesn’t mean you should hide your head in the sand and wait for “the good times to roll” again before you embark on a new business venture. The truth is, NOW is the best time – especially on the Internet.

Businesses that are launched in hard times are better equipped to survive than those that grow bloated and fat during times of surplus spending. But in order to thrive during an economic slowdown, you need to know how to do things the smart way, and not waste money you don’t have on strategies that won’t work.

Today, I’d like to share with you four cheap and easy ways to create new streams of income with an Internet business.

Without further ado, here they are:

Business Turbo-Charger #1. Generate passive income with a niche website.

A niche-centered Internet business is the best way to profit from a downturn, because the cost of entry is so low… and the upside is enormous.

On top of that, an Internet business is very forgiving. You never have to “bet the farm” on an idea. You test it out, and if it isn’t working, you find out right away. Then, you can either fix it or move on to something better.

Business Turbo-Charger #2. Join an affiliate program that aligns with your current business model.

This is the fastest way to grow an existing Internet business, guaranteed.

Your customers are very likely to buy from you again and again – but how do you get them to do that if you have only one product? Easy. You offer them affiliate products.

All you need to do is conduct some research into your market and discover what products your audience is clamoring for (beyond what you already provide).

Then you find an affiliate program that offers such products, and sign up with them.

Then you simply e-mail your customers special offers for those products… mention them on your site, in your e-newsletter, and in your blog… and watch the orders come rushing in!

Business Turbo-Charger #3. Start a blog or e-newsletter to strengthen your relationship with your customers.

In turbulent times, the businesses that are truly successful go the extra mile to build a strong relationship with their customers and prove that they always have their customers’ best interests in mind.

Starting a blog or e-newsletter is a great way to do this. It helps you personalize your Internet business, and allows your customers to get a glimpse of the people behind the scenes. This goes a long way toward reassuring wary online shoppers that you’re someone they want to do business with.

Not only that… search engines absolutely love the fresh and frequently updated content in blogs and e-newsletters. And that means you’ll get a big boost in the search engine rankings and drive more qualified visitors to your site.

Business Turbo-Charger #4. Write helpful articles to boost your reputation.

An effective way to spread the word about your business and boost your reputation as an “expert” is to write free articles on topics related to your industry, and then submit them to the Internet’s top article directories.

The benefits of doing this are twofold…

1. Your target audience will become familiar with your name, and will be far more likely to buy your products.

2. The links you’ll get from the articles that point back to your site will give you a nice boost in your search engine rankings.

The bottom line is that every little thing counts. You have to do what you can to separate yourself from the pack and stand out from your competitors. And you have to keep your eyes open for every opportunity to add new streams of income to your business.

This is especially important during an economic slowdown. If one or more income streams dry up, your business will continue to thrive.

With an Internet business, you never have to worry. As long as you build the business on a solid niche, and are always looking for ways to diversify your income streams, you’ll be able to keep afloat… even when others around you are drowning.

Ready to Recoup Your Recession Losses By 9/30/09?

I don’t know about you, but I’d barely trust Wall Street and the Big Banks with the 63 dollars in my wallet right now, never mind my IRA, 401(k), and life savings!

That’s why thousands of smart Americans are now taking matters into their own hands and quietly moving their savings and portfolio “off” Wall Street… to a far safer and more profitable place I call “Liberty Street”.

One “Liberty Street” investment of as little as $1,000 has the realistic ability to quickly swell into a full year’s salary in just a few weeks’ time – and then repeat over and over again.

Another “Liberty Street” opportunity is currently offering the chance to gain year-in and year-out returns of 65% with 99.77% certainty – even in today’s economy.

Read on to discover how this “Off-Wall Street Cash Recovery Plan” could recoup 100% of your recession losses by September 30, 2009.

6 Steps for When You Really Blow It

By Brendan Florez

Everyone’s done it. Missed that big meeting. Didn’t finish that proposal on time. Forgot that interview (or anniversary). Whatever it was, you screwed up – and you know it.

So how do you deal with the fallout?

Here are six steps to follow:

1. Be proactive. If you realize you screwed up before your boss/friend/spouse/whoever does, tell them about it as soon as possible. Ignoring it can be taken as either being too chicken to fess up or, even worse, not caring.

2. Admit your fault. Communicate clearly that you know what you did, and that you understand the repercussions of your error. People want to feel that you understand why they’re mad – that you’re not just trying to get out of trouble.

3. Be extra hard on yourself. If they see that you’re really sorry, they won’t have to play the bad guy – and may even try to console you. That will help strengthen your relationship.

4. Promise that it won’t happen again. If appropriate, offer up a plan that you intend to follow. Sometimes they’ll want to hear it, sometimes not. Either way, they’ll know you’ve put some thought into it.

5. Accept the consequences. Maybe you get yelled at. Maybe you get fired. Maybe you end up sleeping on the couch. Whatever it is, accept it without objection. If you really think your punishment was too harsh, address it later when cooler heads will prevail.

6. Go the extra mile. Don’t only correct your mistake, go one better. If you were late for a meeting, start being the first one there. If your work was shoddy, make sure it’s flawless and done ahead of schedule in the future.

Everyone screws up. As long as you don’t make it a regular habit, people will forgive you, especially when you handle it well. Of course, the best advice for dealing with mistakes is this: Don’t make them in the first place.

Establishing Trust

By Paul Lawrence

“Elise” consults for nonprofit groups, and she’s great at her job. Most of her business has come from word of mouth. But Elise knew that if she could channelize her efforts, she could reach thousands – if not millions – of potential clients. So she began marketing her services with a website, e-mails, and postcards.

Her promotional copy was filled with bold claims about how much she could do for her clients – and it bombed.

Why? According to Judy Murdoch, a consultant with the National Business Association, Elise’s failure was likely the result of neglecting to establish trust with her target audience.

Because most of Elise’s clients have come from referrals, she never had to worry about trust. It was built into the referrals. But it’s different when you’re marketing through written advertising channels. “The less personal the communication, the more important it becomes to first establish trust with your prospects,” says Murdoch.

Here are two ways to do it:

* Make bold claims – but back them up with proof. If, for example, Elise had mentioned in her copy that she regularly doubles or triples the donations her clients bring in, prospects would have reason to believe her claims about what she could do for them.

* Provide testimonials from satisfied clients. Testimonials are the written equivalent of the word-of-mouth referrals responsible for building Elise’s business in the first place. By including them in her promotional copy, she elevates her credibility.

Off-Day Exercise

By Craig Ballantyne

If you want to lose weight, don’t bother with cardio machines. As I’ve shown in past issues of ETR, long-duration cardio exercise is not only overrated for fat loss, it just plain doesn’t work.

The best way to sculpt your body is to focus on your diet and do a short resistance training and interval training workout three times a week. That doesn’t mean you do nothing the other four days. You need to stay active with what I call “off-day exercise.”

The main goal of off-day activity is to do something enjoyable that keeps your butt off a chair for at least 30 minutes. You don’t want to exercise so hard that you impair recovery from your previous “real” workout or get sore, which could end up ruining your next “real” workout.

Be conservative. When in doubt, do less than you think you should.

Beginners and intermediates could do 30 minutes of light cardio, walking, house/yard work, or a combination of bodyweight exercises (easy ones) and light cardio. Even dancing is fine. Dog walks are good. Do a little exploring! Playing sports would probably be too much.

The heavier you are, the more you should focus on non-weight-bearing activities – like swimming, the elliptical trainer, and the stationary bike – until you lose a significant amount of weight.

Yoga, Pilates, and other methods of “mobility training” are acceptable off-day forms of exercise. Plus, they are highly beneficial for stress reduction.

If you insist on “machine cardio” for your off-day exercise, it’s best to do “cross-training.” That means doing a different exercise with each 30-minute workout or doing 10 minutes each of three different exercises in the same workout. This will help avoid overuse injuries, which is one of the main downfalls of cardio (along with its inefficiency).

[Ed. Note: As fitness expert Craig Ballantyne points out, you don't need to do hard-core exercise every day to see real results. Learn how you can get fit with three 45-minute workouts a week with Craig's Turbulence Training program right here.

It’s Fun to Know: Grammarians and Wordsmiths Avert Your Eyes

A town in Britain – Birmingham – has decreed that apostrophes will no longer be included in its road signs. They will be stripped off signs for Kings Norton, St. Pauls Square, and Druids Heath, among others.

The Birmingham City Council said the decision was based on an effort to keep the town’s signs uniform. Over the years, some have included apostrophes and others have not, which, the Council said, has confused visitors and residents alike.

Educators, scholars, and parents (and Early to Rise editors) are in an uproar.

Are You OK With (Smaller) Online Profits That Automatically Flow Into Your Bank Account Every Month?

Seems like everyone’s going for broke and trying to earn a million their first year online. In the meantime, a handful of people are happy as clams with automatic income streams – usually a few thousand dollars – fattening up their bank accounts each month.

Of course, you can set up as many of these income streams you want.  So if it’s more money you are after, then go for it!   Best part:  It only takes about an hour to set up and it’s easy to do. And then imagine yourself sitting back and watching the money roll in.

Sounds too easy, I know. But perhaps everyone is busy trying to make a killing online… and so they’ve overlooked this fast and easy way to make very nice (but not ridiculous) amounts of money. Why not take a peek today and see if this is right for you?

Word to the Wise: Apogee

“Apogee” (AP-uh-jee) – from the Greek for “away from the earth” – is the point in the orbit of the moon that is furthest away from the center of the earth. The word is used to indicate any high point.

Example (as used by John Maddox in What Remains To Be Discovered): “How can we suppose that science has reached its apogee in the twentieth century?”
